BUG: Deleteting food entry on website causes problems on ios app Topic

Greetings:

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but if I delete an entry from the website it leaves an undeletable 0 calorie entry on the ios app.

For instance if I had an entry for "eggs raw" and I delete it from the website table, I'll then go to the ios app and there will be an entry "eggs raw" but all the nutrition info will be 0.

I I try to delete this entry it will display an error message, stating that there was a server connection error.

The only way to get rid of the entry is to go back to the website re-add the deleted food entry and delete it from the app.

This makes working from the website very uncomfortable since I have to constantly switch back and forward from the website and app.

Hi U6458275, I asked Support about this since I didn't see that they had replied yet to you. This is what they told me:
"So far, nobody else reported the same issue. Please advise (member) to update to the latest iOS version. Also, if he sees the error again, he should upload data and log from the "Support" screen - so (we) can look up the diagnostics. After sending diagnostics, he can try to remove and re-install the app. Hope this helps."

Let me know if their rec. works!

Update found solution:
To avoid the issue on the 1st post when using the website use the "delete row" button when removing entries..

Background:
The bug was happening on the website table. The way I was deleting the meal was by deleting the text directly on the row. This seemed to work fine for a while but after a few weeks of using the website in combination with the iphone app the issue described in the 1st post started happening.

Thanks for sharing that with us, U6458275!
