I'm tired of being fat and not feel good in or out of my clothes. I'm tired of hating the summer cause I'm too fat for short shorts. Damn it I just want to be cute and wear lil clothes when it's hot out (even though stretch marks have ruined most chances for that lol)

I started my weight loss journey once before. About two years ago before I got pregnant. I uses this app and had lost almost 40lbs in 2 months. I was starting to like the way I looked. Then came Elijah lol then I breastfeed and lost some of that baby weight and then came Kamren lmao

Needless to say I'm back. Kam is now 3 months and I've Started this second journey feeling fat as ever. But I know I can do it. And so far I have. It's only the beginning of week three but I've already lost the first 10lbs. My main issue is keeping my ass off the scale! I want to see the weight off me so bad it's crazy....not bad enough to make me get up and workout smh but I'm working on that. I feel like once I see a differed in my body that will give me more will to work out.

Anyway I know I got this in the bag. I'm confident that I will be the sexy momma I always wanted to be. I just want to be happy with me! I just keep telling myself by next year you can be skinny!! I want to be proud of my daily accomplishments but I feel like I can't annoy ppl on my social media with it cause I'm still fat. (That's why I decided to post here) just Wait till I meet the half way mark. I will blow down social media with a pic of every meal lmao.

My ultimate goal is to lose this weight and people around me be so excited by my progress/success that they want to buy their meals from me...so I can be a stay at home mommy. Pray for my journey!

Thanks @cajartina?? I just feel like it's %100 possible if I just keep track of my calories. I measure everything. Ive been looking up low calorie receipts for new ideas to keep it interesting.


What ideas have you found to work @dmariewelch ?


Counting calories truly works. It takes 3500cals to lose a pound. Your body is always burning calories it may not be a lot but sitting at work for 8 hrs still counts lol I measure what I eat with my measuring cup 1/4 usually. My teaspoon and my mini scale. I eat smart but I eat what I like. If I have to eat like this basically the rest of my life then I need to learn control. I use wheat and turkey products. I just found 50 calorie wheat tortillas the other day. I was beyond excited. Made a taco with 1/4 or (1.5 oz) taco meat 3 teaspoons of cheese 2 teaspoons of sour cream and taco sauce. A little under 200 calories. This app tells me I can eat more but I make it a goal to try to stay a bit under 1200 (which gives me wiggle room on days I want a snack). I'm honestly just giving a valid effort to control my eating and stick to something that clearly shows it can work.

Pretty well @Dmariewelch. I've restarted - yet again. But in just 2 days I lost my 1% which is honestly a lot farther than I've come before. I plan to weigh in every Monday. So I hope to see progress this Monday.
