Sharing data with family & friends:
You can invite another person to be your friend via your app, but to share data, I find it easiest to just login to MyNetDiary's web program and do everything from there:
Log into the web program
- Community tab
- Forum link
- Click your family members's nickname (or use search box and choose member as selection criteria).
- Scroll down to the bottom of your family member's Person Page
- Change your attitude from "neutral" to "friendly"
- Go to your own "My Community Profile"
- Go to Information Sharing settings
- Find your family member's row and checkmark all the data boxes you want to share.
- Save.
Community FAQs is helpful too: http://www.mynetdiary.com/helpCommunity.html

Good evening. My friend and I tried desperately to get this to work. After many (and I do mean many) attempts via the app using an iPhone 6+ (IOS 8.3) and the web version, I was finally able to save the settings via the web.
My issue now is that my friend cannot see my food entries (the permissions are saved correctly). Is it not possible for friends to view my daily log entries via the phone app?
It would be a huge motivator for friends to have the ability to view daily entries via the phone app. Please advise.
~thanks

An old post, but is this actually possible via the iPhone app?

(Likewise, we have set the permissions correctly, but they can't see food entries and alike)

Hello Webtechy- Yes it is possible to invite friends with the iPhone app.
From home screen on MAX membership simply scroll straight down and you will see a bunch of options. Invite Friends is new and somewhat towards the bottom. If you can't find it let me know and I will get you some more information. Best, Joanna (Dietician)
