I was supposed to take six months off, eating what I wanted but staying at the same weight. I gained 12 pounds in five months. I was really sick of dieting after ten months of it, anyway, so the break was good, but now I'm motivated again and ready to watch what I eat...and not make too many cakes and cookies.

I do make the best frosting on the planet, though. :)

An excellent first day back on track! 1205 calories and 30+ minutes of walking.

I made chicken and potatos for dinner, but put way too much cayenne pepper on them. Learning to cook - always an adventure!

Grade: A

Yesterday I struggled. Those Hershey white choc chips were calling my name (what do they put in those things?!) but I succeeded in not eating them! Very well done there, most myself on the back. Aside from the choc chip struggle, no exercise, though.
Grade:B

It was a good day. The ridiculously expensive veggie pasta from Whole Foods was surprisingly great (but too expensive.)

Very little struggle with the white chocolate chips, but I did hold the bag in my hand for a few seconds. There is something about those things. It's really difficult to resist them.

Only about 900 calories, so I get extra today...may hold off one more day and make a cake tomorrow.

Grade: C (good for calories and effort, but no exercise.)

LOL Sunshine, I like to call Whole Foods "Whole Paycheck."

No kidding! My first and last trip there, I think. Crazy. It's for people with more money to blow than I have! Someone advised Trader Joes. Must check that out.

Thanks for checking in.

I ate all my calories yesterday, which is fine except that I'd planned to keep them low and make ice cream today, so made made the raspberry swirl for it last night during "Jaws." Now I have to make ice cream or else all those raspberries down the drain.

Maybe I can eat some and maybe not.

I shouldn't have tried to stay so low on calories. Ended up chowing down for dinner. But Oh, those tuna croquettes are so good!

Again I didn't go exercise, dang it. No excuse.

Grade: C (bad plan, no exercise)

Trader Joes has some organic foods and is less expensive than WF but more than Safeway. Looks like you've lost 4.5 pounds this week - WOW!!

Hello! I'm Kim. I had success the end of last year using this app and going to the gym, lost 15 lbs and a pant size. The winter messed me up! So I've gained 10 back :( So, I am trying to get back on track, did well today. I would love to join your board for motivation. I am 34, 207 lbs, hope to get to 170. :)

Go Kimi! You did it before and you can do it again!

Thanks! :)
