Losing weight ! Topic


Hi I am new on here. And was hoping people could share tips or anything on losing weight. I am 23 and gained about 25 lbs last year in 2014 due to crazy stress , bad sleep and stopped working out. But I'm back on track and in the gym every day like I used to be.


Hi Kate, I am new as well, and would love to be a source of motivation for you. Who knows why we gain weight. It's a real Tivoli easy with the portions and the social eating that so prevalent out there. But we all know we want to look and feel are best. And you are so young and I encourage you to not give up because you are in the prime of your life! I am older than youbut I am in good shape for a woman of my age. I just have middle-age spread! But I am determined to have a body of a 22-year-old :-)


Hey~ I'm also new on community but an old user of this app~ I lost 8 kg in 2 and a half months with this app before but get them back again yet I've almost lost them all now one more time~ I think gym is a great idea and counting! Counting is everything, even the calorie of a cup of tea! I think it really helps you to stay motivated and when you see how many calories you have eaten, you will feel more full... And don't be discouraged because we all have some really bad days when we eat the whole world. Just remember you can always lose that kg next day. Don't feel depressed about it!


Hi Kate ! I'm new too and I hope we can help each other:) its not easy to do it all alone, and the situations are basically the same: too calories and few gym...I always say to myself:" c'mon you can make it" but maybe talking with someone is better LOL

Hi Everyone, I am going on my third week, so also farely new !! Lost 2,5kg in the first two weeks. Started a very intense work programme this last week burning 1100 cal daily, keeping under my calorie allowance and have not lost a gram this week !! I am gutted !! Need some motivation to move on as I cannot work any harder or eat any less !! I am 41 female at 61kg and needing to lose 6kg which is my comfort zone !! Any form of motivation and advice is welcome !!


Hi. I am a newbie to this program.. Not dieting and exercising! I want to lose 10-15 lbs. I think my past failure is due to portion control not food choices or lack of exercise!!! So here we go..... I exercise 5 times a week 2 HIIT classes, 2 yoga classes and TRX.... I'm positive and I feel great with the food modifications... Now I just gotta eat less !!!!
