overeating ... Topic

like today don't know why I have been feeling so weak and lightheaded all day. so I had a lot more food (not really junk food) and went over a few hundred calories. I crave for food once a while but never felt as bad as this time. i m female 23. is this normal and is a cheat day actually good for u? thank u!

Yes it's normal. DON'T FEEL BAD!! Read my post just before yours--"Happy..." Pat yourself on the back that the food was mostly good food, work on finding those foods that fill you up. It's a daily thing, like housekeeping or combing your hair. Just keep working on it!

okay :) thanks

Also sometimes when I diet I cut down on red meat and other sources of iron and I can become a bit anaemic which makes me feel a bit weak and spaced out. I Take vitamin tablets with iron for a few days if I feel like that and good old rest helps a well.

ohh that explains all. coz I was taking iron supplement for a few days and just stopped yesterday coz heard it might coz constipation and i already have that problem

I wouldn't take a straight iron supplement unless prescribed. The dose is higher than needed. It will cause constipation. Find foods high in iron, other than meat, like dark leafy greens and lentils. A good daily multi. I needed to increase my calcium so I'm doing both.

As I said, take them for a few days but they can block you up if you take then all the time.

Also eat a lot of food high in fiber. Both fills you up for sometimes low calories and helps constipation. Search for high fiber food. Probably are some articles on this web site from the dietatian.

When we go on a strict diet after eating whatever we want, we often go through a sugar detox after a few weeks, it's not propping us up anymore, so you feel dizzy, spaced out, a bit weak and wasted etc.
Totally normal and it will go away :)

Try drinking a cup of chicken or vegetable broth to help alleviate the weak/light-headed feeling. It may be a potassium thing. These are all good suggestions.
