1/4 cup Sesame seed kernels (shelled) dried

1 cup Oatmeal or rolled oats regular or quick dry uncooked

3 date, pitted Dates medjool

1/2 cup Almond butter without salt

2 tbsp Sesame butter or tahini

  • In a medium skillet toast the sesame seeds over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Let cool.
  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. This will be used after you prepare the date bites.
  • In a medium bowl prepare the date bites by mixing the sesame seeds, oats, chopped dates, almond butter, tahini, maple syrup, cinnamon and dry milk. Stir all ingredients until well combined.
  • Measure out 1 heaping Tbsp portions and roll to make a ball. Place even sized balls on parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat until you have created 14 balls.

1 serving = 1 ball

Tip:
If you prefer, you can freeze balls for 2 hours to get a frozen texture. Some folks like this.

You can store extra balls in the freezer or frig.
