Serve your own smoky nut mix on game day! This satisfying, flavorful snack offers much more nutrition than chips, and it's under 5g of carbs per serving!
1 cup shelled (50 halves) Walnuts raw
1 1/2 tablespoon Olive or extra virgin olive oil
4 sprays, about 1/3 second each spray Vegetable cooking spray oil
1 tsp Paprika smoked or Hungarian
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Combine the nuts in a medium sized bowl. Coat with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine the smoked sea salt (it adds more flavor than traditional sea salt if you can find it), garlic, and smoked paprika. Mix well.
- Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Spread nuts in a single layer on baking sheet. Sprinkle the spice mix evenly over the nuts. Toss to coat.
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned and crispy.
