Hard to believe these snack bars have zero added sugars. They get their sweetness from fruit.
9 ingredients
4 sprays, about 1/3 second each spray Vegetable cooking spray oil
2 medium, about 7" long Bananas raw
3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
7 date, pitted Dates medjool
2 1/4 cup Oats rolled regular dry uncooked
1/4 cup Sunflower seed kernels (shelled) oil roasted with salt

- Preheat oven to 350F. Coat an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork.
- Stir in vanilla extract and oil.
- Chop the dates.
- Add dates, rolled oats, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, and cinnamon to bowl and stir to mix.
- Press mixture into the baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until edges are crispy but not burnt.
- Remove from oven. Cut into 16 equal squares while still warm in pan. Leave bars in pan to cool.
Tips:
This is a great recipe for using overripe bananas.
It is easier to cut the bars while they are still hot.
To prevent scratching a metal baking pan, cut with a plastic serrated knife.
