1/4 cup Parsley fresh or raw herb
1 tbsp chopped Chives fresh or raw herb
1/2 cup Buttermilk nonfat
3/4 cup Mayonnaise with olive oil reduced fat
1 tablespoon Lemon juice raw
1/2 tsp, leaves Spices tarragon dried
- Rinse and chop the parsley and chives. Peel the garlic clove.
- Place buttermilk, mayonnaise, lemon juice, parsley, chives, garlic, tarragon, black pepper, and salt into a blender. Blend on medium until very smooth.
- Serve and enjoy! Refrigerate leftovers. This recipe makes about 1 1/3 cups of dressing. Each serving is about 2 tbsp.
This dressing also works as a delicious veggie dip!
Fresh herbs are fantastic in this recipe but if you need to substitute with dry spices, try these conversions:
1 tbsp dried parsley for 1/4 cup fresh
1 tsp dried chives for 1 tbsp fresh
1/4 tsp garlic powder for 1 clove fresh
