4 tablespoon Olive or extra virgin olive oil
...
2 tablespoon Lemon juice raw

2 tablespoon Water
...
2 tbsp Sesame butter or tahini

1/4 tsp Salt

3 steps

  • Peel and pit the avocado. Peel the garlic.
  • Place avocado, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, water, tahini, turmeric, and salt in a food processor and pulse on high until smooth. If you prefer a thinner texture, try adding 1 tbsp of water at a time until you get the desired consistency.
  • Use immediately or store in the refrigerator. This recipe makes about 1 1/4 cups. Each serving is 2 tbsp.

Tips:
This recipe makes a thick, luscious dressing that can be used as a dip, toast spread, or salad dressing. It is also used in the Premium recipe, "Chickpea Kale & Bulgur Bowl with Avocado Tahini Dressing."

Avocado is sticky when it dries, so either wash your blender and utensils immediately after use or soak them in warm soapy water until you have time to clean them.
