Whole wheat flour and unsweetened applesauce add some goodness to this yummy loaf. Your kitchen will smell amazing!

4 sprays, about 1/3 second each spray Vegetable cooking spray oil
2 large egg Egg whole raw
1 cup Applesauce canned unsweetened with added ascorbic acid

- Preheat oven to 350F. Coat a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a medium bowl, whisk eggs. Whisk in applesauce, molasses, maple syrup, canola oil, and vanilla extract.
- Add egg mixture to flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for about 35-45 minutes. Test center with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
- Cool pan on a wire rack for about 10-15 minutes. Remove loaf from pan and allow to cool completely.
- Cut loaf into 12 slices and serve. Enjoy!
Tips:
Substitute maple syrup with honey if you prefer.
This tastes great with nonfat whipped topping.
