3/4 cup Whole bean coffee or espresso

- Coarsely grind 3/4 cup of coffee beans (equal to 96 grams) in a coffee grinder.
- Place grounds into a large mason jar.
- Add 18 fluid ounces (2 1/4 cups) of cool or room temperature filtered water.
- Mix with a long spoon to hydrate the beans.
- Place lid on the jar and refrigerate for 12-24 hours, shaking jar several times throughout the brewing cycle.
- Pour cold brew (through a sieve covered in cheesecloth) into a bowl to separate grounds from the liquid. Discard the grounds.
- Divide cold liquid evenly between 2 tall glasses filled with ice. Enjoy!

The approximate caffeine content of 8 fl oz of cold brew coffee is 150 mg - 200 mg, depending upon the type of coffee bean (Arabica is lower in caffeine than Robusta).
