Protein-punched super simple treats to satisfy chocolate and peanut butter fans.

6 ingredients

...
1 cup Peanut butter smooth without salt
...
1 1/4 cup Vanilla whey protein powder low carb
...
2 tbsp Maple syrup
...
1/3 cup Flaxseed Ground
...
1/2 tsp Salt
...
3/4 cup chips (6 oz package) Chocolate chips semi-sweet

6 steps

  • Mix peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, flaxseed, and salt until it forms a dough. If the dough is too crumbly, add a tablespoon or two of water.
  • Press into a 8x8-inch (20x20-cm) pan.
  • Place the chocolate chips in a small bowl. Melt in the microwave, checking and stirring every 20 seconds.
  • Spread the melted chocolate over the bars.
  • Place bars in the refrigerator until set.
  • Cut into 12 pieces. Enjoy!

Tips:
This recipe allows for many variations. For example, you may choose to sweeten with honey instead of maple syrup, or you may prefer to use a different type of protein powder.

You may add a tablespoon of coconut oil to the chocolate chips for a smoother texture.

Optional add-ins: Mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or ground flaxseed.
