Calorie budget not reflecting exercise Topic

I’m just starting out with this app but seem to have a problem and can’t find an answer in the help topics.

I have my app setup to read from my iOS Health app, that seems to be working fine BUT although I have completed 30 minutes of exercise today my calorie budget for the day hasn’t changed and the app is showing no exercise recorded. I have checked that “Add Exercise to Calorie Budget” is set to ON.

Does the app only take exercise that has been done as a Workout into account? Or should it read my exercise minutes and active calories? If it only counts Workouts that not so great for me.

I am trying to figure this out too. I have discovered this app only records your calories from workouts that are 30min or more. If I have shorter workouts I pause them and continue them later, hopefully, all together they are more than 30 minutes and will show in the app. If I am mixing up activities I use "Other."

Also, they have an option in the app to record your calories burned manually. When I tried this to record remaining unrecorded "active calories" I showed burning on my apple watch, it then showed this manual recording on my watch so my calories on the watch were double recorded!

I feel like there is some setting I need to change to be able to fix this problem...

Greetings U1187822432! I am sorry to hear you have run into a glitch with the app.
I think you will find this article helpful in regards to using the app with exercise. https://www.mynetdiary.com/supportArticle.do?articleId=3401
MyNetDiary does in fact allow you to select the minutes of workouts recorded. Though the default is set to 50 minutes. Simply to go Settings/Apps and Devices/IOS Health App Sync/Minimum Workout Calories to adjust.
