Hi Saltyboy- Great idea to do a waist measurement. If you are someone who typically wears baggy clothes you don't realize the change. Four inches! Strong work! Thanks for the positive feedback about the site. We are happy to help and realize how good people feel when they are taking care of their health and seeing progress on the scale is always a plus! FYI: We have an up to date blog. You might find this section on body composition interesting: https://www.mynetdiary.com/blog/Body-composition-Weight-Loss_206-201.html Best, Joanna (Dietician)

Yeah I didn’t seemto lose anything and working out at gym most days then girlfriend said to measure self as it was evident that had lost some I think it was due to the fact trousers kept falling down lol
Thinking of cutting calories down on the app but if change it then it makes all the previous days over on calories is there a way to change this

Hi Saltyboy,

First of all, way to go losing 4 inches! That is great!

Yes, if you do decrease the calories goal to lower level, it will show your previous days as over. I would just ignore this and move forward with your new goal. You know you met your previous goal.

Keep working towards your goal! Be well! Brenda (Dietitian, MyNetDiary)

Thanks again for swift response much appreciated

Quick question
The last couple of days my calories required is 2186 and have been getting near this but have noticed that I used to get a thermometer with the defiacit etc but not getting that and noticed it says to add more calories to see if on track
How do I get back on track

Hi Saltyboy- Hmm, this is odd. Do you use an android or iPhone?
If it is possible, I would suggest getting support involved. Please send a screen shot to support@mynetdiary.com and let them know what software you are using and the issue.
They are awesome at figuring out why the icons are different, and what is going on.
Sorry I am not of more help. Joanna (Dietician)

I use iPhone
Getting really frustrated now as I was doing so well and even thinking changing apps
I’ve sent screenshots to support and await there input
Just as I was going so well aswell

Hi Saltyboy- You should hear back from support very soon. Has your weight loss been pretty steady at 2186 calories a day or have you noticed you hit a plateau? Here is an article that might help offer some tips: https://www.mynetdiary.com/plateau-recharge-your-diet.html Hang in there! Joanna (Dietician)

Cheers Joanna
Hopefully hear back soon as not heard anything yet
I’m only on my third week but have losted every week so all good
I just had knock back with the app and at moment I hope it doesn’t set me back

Hi Saltyboy- Strong work on your continued weight loss. You must be pleased! While I believe MND is a very robust tracker, figuring out a precise calorie budget for weight loss is an art and a science. Every body is different and every metabolism is a bit different, which certainly adds to the challenge.
Have a good rest of your week! Joanna (Dietician)
