Yea! Today I finally defeated my nemesis the scale and broke the 140 barrier! Whee ??????
My heaviest point was January of this year, at 159. By June I was at 149. This morning I am 139!
I was going down super slowly and even went to a complete standstill for several months, but finally took a different tack.
This whole month I've had NO added sugars, no carbs and no alcohol. I've also been using a digital scale to measure my portions - finding out my "eyeball approach" was really underestimating the amounts before.
Other key components that I hadn't done before:
Fresh fruit 2x per day (believe it or not, this was the toughest part!)
Multivitamin every day
Fiber tablet once per day
1 gallon of water per day

Just in time for vacation ?? My goal for the next money is just maintenance, within 2lbs or so


Catching up on mynetdiary and wow, you broke 140 last year. Let’s definitely it again! I’m working on being solidly below 150 right now (I’m bobbing between 151 and 149 right now)
