Thanks Brenda! I do have tools, they are just so hard to use right now. I can make a plan but ed is really taking over for it to be his plan. I can’t afford my therapist right now, actually owe her money and of course Insurance won’t cover my dietician so haven’t been seeing her. Not sure where to go for support . No EDA meetings here anymore. And I’m embarrassed of all the weight gain, I don’t want to be seen and feel like I don’t belong in ed support, granted I felt the same at much lower weights... just, thanks again for listening. I need to start constantly choosing to do the next right thing- it’s so so hard! I know what I need to be doing, but having a hard time doing it. The ed is so loud right now. Especially after just getting home from clothes shopping... anyway, I think I’ve hijacked this thread and that was not my intent. Sorry

Hi Katie,

Sounds like you are having a tough time. Can you talk to your therapist about setting up a payment plan to make it reasonable for you? Also, here is a site that can help you find local support groups and describes other resources available out there. Stay with your plan as best you can! You deserve it! Brenda

Hey Katie,

I forgot to include the eating disorder site link. Here it is:

Hope it helps! Brenda (Dietitian)

Thanks Brenda! Knowing I’m heard and supported helps more than you know!

Tonight it’s peanut butter, just peanut butter slight melted in the microwave... It’s been calling my name for about two hours and it’ll have to wait until tomorrow. :) yummy!

Hi LucyLake28 - peanut butter gets you into trouble or just too much PB after you have already met your calories budget? ;) For me it's not PB, but occasionally, I get on a Nutella jag. PB is a much healthier option than Nutella but both are high in calories so alas, we have to budget for these types of foods.

Yes, this was a late night craving, and I didn’t have any calories left. I love Love peanut butter just by itself, and it doesn’t take much to over indulge in it! Just milk & peanut butter! Nutella is great with a low carb tortilla and banana slices! All in all, I guess better than a candy bar :) Nutella is also my weakness melted with raw walnuts :)

Oh my, that does sound good - all of it!

Hi Katie,
I relate so much to your share. I'm an alcoholic but have been sober 13 years. My eating disorder got WAY OUT OF CONTROL. I am enjoying using MND and I track my walks on Runkeeper. I keep reminding myself how crappy I feel when I binge. I prefer to be in success mode. My last binge didn't even help me feel better. I didn't even want to eat it but did it out of habit. It's been a few days now since then and I feel so good. I just want to keep it up. You can do it too! You got this!

Dear Thisisit012206,

Thanks for sharing your journey. It is difficult to tell if your eating disorder is active right now. If you do have an active eating disorder, please seek guidance from a health care professional. You want to make sure tracking is a tool you should be using right now.

Be well, Brenda (Dietitian, MyNetDiary)
