If you go into your account settings under "Logging" you have the ability to set whether or not you want the times displayed. Then when you log your food you can click the time that's all the way to the right and change it to whatever time you think you're going to be eating.


Yes, time stamp is available in MyNetDiary (thanks Justjennie). Also, if you have Max membership & use either the Android or web app, then you can use Calorie Cycling to help organize your feed and fast days. But just be aware that MyNetDiary does not show analysis when intake is < 400 calories (this is a safety issue because of the large and varied population that uses MyNetDiary). iPhone app will have calories cycling sometime in the future (they are planning for it).


Hi Team. New member from Australia. Recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Planning on OMAD fasting. I am hoping MyNetDiary will help me track my progress, losing weight as well as reducing BG levels. Question, how do we I setup for this OMAD fast, with calories, times etc..? Looking forward to sharing my progress and getting some good feedback and ideas.

When it comes to OMAD fasting you can simply record the one meal that you eat each day in the app. I would record it at the same time each day (for example lunch). You can record your intake and the time under the name of the meal. In order to view your nutrient analysis for a week you must consume at least 400 calories a day. I don't anticipate this will be a problem for you. Before beginning this type of eating plan I would suggest talking with your doctor. Since they are aware of your health history they are the most qualified to discuss how this style of eating could help or harm you.
I must warn you that if you have Type 2 Diabetes and especially if you take insulin and or a sulfonylurea you are at risk for hypoglycemia https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/hypoglycemia/symptoms-causes/syc-20373685
Because of this risk, I would not encourage this type of fasting plan for you. Type 2 Diabetes is an extremely complicated metabolic condition that impacts numerous organs and systems in the body. That is why I would suggest working closely with your doctor around your eating plan, what you are eating, as well as how much and when. Finally, it is important that you test your blood sugar more frequently during any new eating plan, especially this type of plan. Please discuss the details of blood sugar testing, signs of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia with your doctor. Hi Joanna, Thank you for the feedback, I know the OMAD style is a little unorthodox. Yes, I have discussed this plan with my GP and my BG monitor and BPM are on the way. I understand the signs in my body of hyperglycemia. I guess it is not a true OMAD fast, as I have a coffee in the morning, no sugar now, and a small miso soup around midday, just to take the edge off. I am not taking any medication for my diabetes, my GP has given me 4 weeks to show what I can achieve on my own, if my HbA1C does not drop in 4 weeks, medication it is.. Three days in, I am feeling great, not as weak as I first thought I might, dropped 3.8kg too, with just a walk around the block after my one meal at dinner. And buckets and buckets of water, well, not buckets, but lots more than I was having before.. :)

Hi Everyone , I am in LitenEasy for 10 days however no weight loss , I am quite upset this morning not getting results. I am on 1200 calorie diet. I even walk 30 min everyday. Why can’t I loose weight. ??????

Hi Katie, yes I'm practicing it and have been for a while now. I don't know about you but wow (!) does it pack a punch when you've just started and are doing it properly. I'm actually just getting back into due to a lot of things but mainly I've just had full hip replacement surgery and the fact that I was completely unable to exercise, coinciding with the fact that I went for cooking for a family of 3, to it just being me. I admit I just kinda gave up for those couple of years and let myself go. I've put on nearly 2 stone ( I'm not sure where you're from, but I'm Scottish and we generally use drones and pounds - but it works out to roughly 28 pounds in my case ). Now that I'm healing and getting back on my feet, I can't wait to bloody get this flab off!
