Lost Data Topic


On Oct 28 I was entering food data and then all of my previous entries went blank.
I have sent several emails to support with no response.
Is there any way to get help to fix this?


Entered data twice today and lost it both times. I am very unhappy.

Sorry about that,

Apparently, you have more than one account with us. Also, please notice that the mobile apps can be used as with as well as without the created account. In the last case, no backup is possible.

Here are more behind the scenes...

When user logs some food entry to some MyNetDiary app (e.g. to Free App and/or to Pro App or/and to D App installed on one iPhone device or to iPad or to the Android device or to several mobile devices, or to Android phone and to Android tablet), this record has to be synced with www.MyNetDiary.com servers under the particular email id (or under the particular account name) and under the valid password. The account name/email id and the right password are very important for sync since they prove authentication of each entry user makes! In the same way, the food record entered to meal section (e.g. to Breakfast) via the website under the particular account name has to appear on the MyNetDiary mobile apps where the user was signed in with the same account name. If some food record appeared on www.MyNetDiary.com website that means this record was stored under this account name on our servers. These records will be restored after reinstalling the apps on different devices: phones, iPads, tablets. If some mobile record did not appear on the website that means this record is not stored and that this data can be lost.


Two conditions required for sync between MyNetDiary mobile apps and the website are:

- logging with the same MyNetDiary account name (or with the same e-mail id),

- working Internet connection.


The trigger for synchronization between MyNetDiary mobile apps and the website is:

- logging the new food record,
- or, going to another day (e.g. to Tomorrow or Yesterday from Today's meals).
