Katherine is a Registered Dietitian committed to helping individuals achieve wellness and disease risk reduction through Nutrition Education. Katherine has a special interest in weight control since it affects risk as well as management of multiple chronic diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and cancer.

Education

Katherine's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Nutrition from Cornell University. Katherine is also a certified Health Fitness Instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine.

Work Experience

Katherine's work experience includes Diabetes Education, Clinical Dietetics (with hospitalized patients), Inborn Errors of Metabolism (e.g. genetic metabolic diseases), personal training, dance instruction, nutrition software training, nutrient database management, and research.
