An AI Recipe is created by MyNetDiary apps when a user searches for a meal not found in the database, based on user’s description of the meal. It includes realistic ingredients and amounts—sourced from MyNetDiary’s food database—to provide accurate calorie and nutrient totals. It also comes with AI-generated image.
How It Works
- When you search for a missing recipe, like Ground Beef with Tomato Sauce MyNetDiary app will ask AI to create one
- The AI uses its knowledge of similar recipes to select appropriate ingredients and amounts, taking user’s description into account
- Ingredients are real foods from the app’s database, ensuring precise nutrition data
- AI also generates a matching image for the recipe
- Our Data Team reviews the ingredients and images before the recipe is added to the searchable database
Why Use It?
- Provides accurate estimates of calories and nutrients
- A great starting point for creating a recipe—you can copy, customize, and add cooking instructions and cooked weight
Please notice that cooked weight is only estimated by AI. If the recipe needs cooking, you can weigh it and save cooked weight using Copy & Customize action. This allows you to log eaten amount in grams or oz.
We hope AI recipes make tracking and meal planning easier and more personalized!
