MyNetDiary's medication tracker logs every dose in the same diary as your food, beside the meal, the blood glucose reading, the weight entry, and the symptom note around it, so you can see their timing and bring patterns to your care team. Pick from the built-in list of the most popular GLP-1 and diabetes medications, or create your own for anything else; the tracker is part of MyNetDiary Premium on iPhone, Android, and the web.

How Medication Tracking Works in MyNetDiary

Medication tracking takes three steps, and every dose lands in the same diary as the meals around it.

  1. Choose or create. In the Health Catalog, open Medications and select from the built-in list, or tap Create Medication and set the name, units, and chart color.
  2. Log a dose. Open Medications on your Dashboard, pick the medication, and add a New Entry with the dose, time, notes, and labels, or copy yesterday's dose.
  3. Review and share. See doses day by day, on per-medication charts, and on the My Health timeline. Email a report to your doctor, or share through Professional Connect.

Entries sync across your devices, including iPad and the web.

What the Medication Tracker Includes

Built-In Medication List

The most popular GLP-1 and diabetes medications ship in the app. Pick yours and start logging; every dose records the same way: amount, time, notes, and labels.

Custom Medications and Supplements

Blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, or any other medication or supplement: add it with your own units (mg, g, pill, or drop), decimal precision, chart color, and notes on how and when you take it. Medication trackers carry no target value.

Dose Labels and Notes

Tag an entry as “Missed a dose”, “Changed a dose”, or “Changed schedule”, or add your own label. You can add up to ten labels per entry. Weeks later, the label tells you why a dose was skipped or changed.

History, Charts, and Dashboard

Review doses day by day, on a per-medication chart, or on the My Health timeline, and choose which medications show on your Dashboard. Day-part reports include every dose.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does MyNetDiary have a medication tracker?

Yes. MyNetDiary's medication tracker app logs prescription doses in the same diary as your food, blood glucose, weight, and symptoms. Choose from the built-in list of popular GLP-1 and diabetes medications, or create your own, such as a blood pressure or thyroid medication, with custom units. Each dose records the amount, date and time, notes, and labels such as "Missed a dose" or "Changed a dose."

Which calorie counter has a medication tracker?

Of the five major food trackers compared on this page, MyNetDiary is the only one with a general-purpose medication tracker: common GLP-1 and diabetes prescriptions built in, plus custom entries for any other prescription or supplement, with dose labels, charts, and reports. MyFitnessPal and Lose It! offer GLP-1-specific dose logging, and Cronometer imports CGM glucose and insulin from Dexcom, but none of the other four currently documents a dedicated general-purpose medication tracker comparable to MyNetDiary's. Insulin doses log directly as well, on a staff-verified food database of 2M+ foods.

Can I track supplements and over-the-counter medications?

Yes. Create a custom medication with the name, dose units such as mg, g, pill, or drop, decimal precision, and a chart color, then log it the same way as a prescription. Notes hold how and when you take it, and the entry appears on your Dashboard, in the day-by-day history, and on its own chart. MyNetDiary works as a medication and supplement tracker in one.

Is the medication tracker free?

The medication tracker is a Premium feature, available in any MyNetDiary app upgraded to Premium on iPhone, Android, and the web. Premium also unlocks blood glucose and insulin tracking, custom trackers, and in-depth nutrient analysis. Food logging with up to 108 nutrients per entry, barcode scanning, and macro tracking stay free with no ads.

Can I set medication reminders?

GLP-1 medications include a built-in dose reminder that notifies you when the next injection or tablet is due. For other medications, create a Custom Reminder in Settings; the tracker records the dose whenever you log it.

Can I share my medication log with my doctor or dietitian?

Yes. Day Timeline and weekly reports can be emailed to yourself or your healthcare provider, and dietitians and coaches connected through Professional Connect see the medication log in client summaries and shareable charts. Professional Connect is free for practitioners. For anyone who works with a dietitian, MyNetDiary doubles as a medication log app.

Does MyNetDiary check drug interactions or recommend doses?

No. MyNetDiary records medications, doses, timing, notes, and related health data. It does not check drug-drug or drug-food interactions, does not recommend medication changes, and is not a medical device: it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Use your medication label and your pharmacist or prescriber for interaction and dosing questions.
