An account is required to sync your data across devices and enable online access and tracking through our website.
The installed mobile app can be used with or without creating an account. If you haven’t created an account, your logged data could be lost if you lose access to your phone. To keep your records safe, we recommend creating an account as soon as possible. You can create one anytime from the Me tab.
iOS users can simply do it in the Me tab, there will be an option to Create Account, but if you don't see it, here is the instruction
- Open the app and go to the 'Me' tab.
- Tap on 'App Settings'.
- Select 'Account&Privacy'.
- Choose 'Create account' and follow the instructions to set up your account.
Android: users can create the account in the same way
What concerns Website, please follow the steps to create the account:
Settings - My Account - green button Create Account
Create a MyNetDiary account in the app to save your records securely in the cloud. You can then restore them if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
To sync your records across devices and the website, sign in to the same MyNetDiary account everywhere and make sure you have an internet connection.
NB
Your MyNetDiary account is separate from your Apple ID or Google account. Using the same email address does not automatically connect them. If you created your MyNetDiary account using Apple, Google, or another social sign-in option, use that same option each time you sign in.
