Common questions about Account, Privacy, and Settings
How do I reset my forgotten password?
For an email account, tap Forgot Your Password in the app, or Log In then Forgot Password on the website, and enter your email to receive a reset link. Check spam and try other email addresses if needed. For Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in, use the same method; no reset is needed.
How do I delete my account?
In the iOS or Android app, go to Me > App Settings > Account & Privacy > Delete Account, or use Settings > My Account on the website. All your data, including food logs, weight, and trackers, is permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved. Deleting your account does not cancel an iPhone or iPad subscription, so cancel that separately.
How do I move my account to a new phone?
If you restore the new phone from a backup, your data is already there. Otherwise, install the app, tap I Already Have an Account on the Welcome screen, and sign in with your email and password, or the same Google, Apple, or Facebook login. This works only if you created an account linked to the website.
Can I switch to kilojoules or metric units?
Yes. The mobile apps support metric units for weight, length and volume, kilojoules instead of calories, and mmol/L for blood trackers, with unit options in App Settings. On the website, change weight units in Settings > General and blood tracker units in Settings > Logging. Kilojoules are not available on the website.
