Health Connect

On Android, the app integrates with Health Connect, which shares health, fitness and wellbeing data between apps. You can import ("read") historical data from other apps and sync ("write") entries such as food, exercise and weight to them. You choose which data types are shared, and both the app and Health Connect show the types you picked.

Our Android apps integrate with Health Connect, letting you safely share health, fitness, and wellbeing data across apps:

  • Import (“read”) your historical data from third-party apps.
  • Sync (“write”) your entries like food, exercise, and weight to other apps.
  • You control which data types are shared — see screenshots below.

This integration allows our app to read your historical records shown in other apps, so you can import your data from third-party apps directly into MyNetDiary.

In addition, you can set up linking with Health Connect to let our app write your entries (such as food, weight, and exercise) to other apps.

Health Connect provides a simple, secure way to share data between your health, fitness, and wellbeing apps without compromising privacy. Once connected, both our app and Health Connect will display the data types you’ve chosen to share — as shown in the screenshots below.
