How to Log Exercises in MyNetDiary and PlateAI

To log an exercise, open the Exercise tab on the Dashboard, add a new exercise, enter the duration or other details, and save. If yours is not listed, use Custom Exercise. MyNetDiary and PlateAI connect directly with Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit, or Withings, or indirectly through Health Connect or Apple Health. Without those, no sync is possible.

Logging exercises in the app is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure your physical activities are accurately tracked:

Open the Exercise Tab on the Dashboard - find Exercise tab - Add new exercise - input duration or other details - Save your exercise log

Can I log exercises not listed in the app?

Yes! If you can't find your specific exercise, look for a "Custom Exercise" option where you can enter the name and details manually. Be as accurate as possible with the intensity and duration for the best calorie estimation.

Trackers

We recommend using fitness trackers or smartwatches for enhanced accuracy in tracking your physical activities. These devices automatically monitor various exercises, steps, heart rate, and more, syncing seamlessly with our app to provide a comprehensive overview of your fitness progress.

MyNetDiary and PlateAI have 2 ways to integrate devices with themselves:

If your device can send the data to Health Connect, or Apple Health, then you can establish an indirect link between the device and your app. Please check the above articles to find out how to do it. If it cannot, unfortunately, no sync is possible.

We are working on adding more trackers to sync with MyNetDiary and PlateAI, but this process takes time. If you find some particular device to be a good fit for our application, please feel free to submit your suggestion to support@mynetdiary.com.
