Fluoride Tracking

The app now supports fluoride tracking, but most fluoride comes from tap water, which the app does not track, and many labels omit it, so data may be incomplete. If a food is missing fluoride by mistake, send a PhotoFood request from the mobile app for an update within 24 hours, or edit the food with Copy & Customize.

We’ve recently added support for tracking fluoride in the app. However, most fluoride in modern diets comes from tap water, which the app doesn’t track. Also, many food manufacturers don’t include fluoride on their labels, so the data may be missing or incomplete.

If you notice a food missing fluoride info by mistake, you can send a PhotoFood request from the mobile app, and we’ll update it within 24 hours. You can also manually edit the food using the Copy & Customize feature and enter an estimated fluoride value, for example, by referencing a similar item from the Staple Foods catalog.

Just so you know, fluoride analysis may be inaccurate if your logged foods are missing fluoride values by error.
