Low Carb, Diabetes, and Blood Glucose

Keto and Low-Carb are Premium Diet plans limiting carbs to 5% and recommending 20% of calories, respectively. Open Diet Tools in the mobile apps; on iPad, open Premium Diets in the left-side menu. BG & Diabetes Tracking supports glucose, insulin and medication tracking with a subscription, except Diabetes Tracker by MyNetDiary for iOS requires no subscription.

If you're focused on reducing carbohydrates and managing blood glucose, our app offers several helpful features.

There are two Premium Diet plans designed for carb reduction: Keto and Low-Carb. The Keto diet limits carbs to 5% of daily calories to support ketosis, while the Low-Carb diet recommends 20% of calories from carbs—compared to the typical 45–55%. These diet plans can be accessed from the Diet Tools tab on the mobile apps. (On the iPad app, the Premium Diets option is located in the left-side menu, which can be opened by tapping the '<' icon in the upper-left corner.)

Premium Diets include specialized recipes, detailed guides, and tools for planning and tracking your diet. You can automatically switch your Primary Nutrient from calories to total carbs or net carbs for easier tracking. In addition, Keto Food Grades and Low-Carb Grades help you assess and improve your food choices.

If you’ve been diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes, you can enable BG & Diabetes Tracking in the app’s settings (available with a subscription. Disclaimer: the Diabetes Tracker by MyNetDiary for iOS does not require a subscription.)

This activates a full-featured diabetes and blood glucose tracker, allowing you to: track blood glucose with labels (e.g., fasting, post-meal), set reminders for BG checks, track insulin and medications, access specialized reports and charts

You can customize which nutrients are shown as Primary and Secondary in App Settings > Diet Logging (or Food & Exercise Logging). The secondary nutrient will appear alongside the primary one across the app.

Use the Premium Recipes section’s “Low-Carb” category to explore low-carb recipe options.

You can also find curated Low-Carb and Keto menus under Premium Menus.

Additional nutrient breakdowns and visual charts help you monitor carb intake and macronutrient balance effectively.
