How to compare two foods

On iPhone and Android, open a meal, search for a food and tap it to open the food entry screen. Scroll down, tap Compare with Another Food, then select a second food. You can compare foods without logging either one.

Use Compare with Another Food to view two foods’ nutrition information side by side. This feature is available on both iPhone and Android.

  1. Open a meal and search for the first food.
  2. Tap the food to open the food entry screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Compare with Another Food.
  4. Search for and select the second food to open Compare Foods.

The comparison shows nutrient amounts per serving. Check the serving sizes, since they may differ between the two foods.

Comparing foods does not add them to your diary. When finished, you can close the comparison without logging anything. To log your preferred food, return to food search, open that food and tap Log.
