Using MyNetDiary and PlateAI with AllTrails on iOS

AllTrails cannot connect directly, but on iOS it can send hiking data one way through the Apple Health app. In AllTrails, open the Profile tab, tap the gear for Settings, choose Apple Health and tap Connect. Only workouts and steps sync this way, and only if the activity shows calories burned. AllTrails does not read data from Apple Health.

AllTrails is an app popular with people interested in tracking their hiking activity and improving their performance.

While there is no way to directly connect AllTrails with MyNetDiary or PlateAI, it is possible to establish a one-way connection between the apps via iOS Health App. AllTrails can write data into iOS Health App which can be subsequently read by our apps.

Please note: AllTrails will NOT read data added in iOS Health App by any source.

To link AllTrails with iOS Health App, access the Profile tab - Settings (a gear button) - choose Apple Health and click Connect.

Please note: only Workout activity and Steps can be synced this way AND only if the workout/activity in question provides a visible amount of calories burned.

Here is an example of activity imported from AllTrails into MyNetDiary or PlateAI:
