Switching from Premium Subscription to Lifetime Premium

The remaining portion of your yearly subscription will not be refunded when purchasing the Lifetime premium. Please cancel your recurring subscription manually when switching to Lifetime.

Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase. Once bought, you will have access to Premium features forever without paying a monthly or yearly fee again.

1. How to Purchase

You can purchase the Lifetime Premium offer directly within the app from Me tab → App Settings → Manage Subscription. You do not need to wait for your current subscription to expire. Purchasing Lifetime Premium will immediately upgrade your account status.

2. Managing Your Old Subscription

Lifetime Premium is a separate one-time product, not a higher tier of your recurring plan. Because of this, buying it does not automatically stop your existing Monthly or Annual subscription — on either platform. To avoid an unintended renewal, you must cancel your old subscription manually.

Your Lifetime access is active immediately, so cancelling the old subscription will not interrupt your Premium features.

🍎 For iPhone / iPad Users (Apple App Store)

  1. Open your iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap your Name / Apple ID at the very top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select MyNetDiary.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

🤖 For Android Users (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right).
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  4. Select MyNetDiary.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription.

After cancelling, you can confirm on the same Subscriptions screen that the old plan is set to expire and not renew.

3. Will I get a refund for my current subscription?

No. Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase, not a higher tier of your recurring subscription, so the app stores do not link it to your existing plan.

When you switch between two subscription tiers, Apple and Google can automatically prorate or refund the difference. A one-time Lifetime purchase does not go through that process, which means:

  • The unused portion of your current Annual subscription is not automatically refunded.
  • Its remaining value is not credited toward the Lifetime fee.

What happens to my remaining time? If you still had 6 months left on your Annual plan, that subscription will simply run its course until it expires. Your Lifetime status is already active, so you will experience no interruption in service when the old plan ends.

Recommendation: If you recently renewed your Annual plan, you may prefer to wait until it is closer to expiration before buying Lifetime — and remember to cancel the old subscription (see Section 2) so it does not renew.
