Using MyNetDiary and PlateAI with Whoop on Android

Whoop cannot connect directly, but on Android you can set up a one-way link through Health Connect. In the Whoop app, tap More, scroll down to Integrations and tap Health Connect. Once the app is linked to Health Connect, it receives Whoop exercise, steps, resting heart rate and sleep.

Whoop is a popular tracker that allows users to track their performance and training goals.

While there is no way to connect Whoop with MyNetDiary or PlateAI directly, it is possible to establish a one-way connection between the apps via the Health Connect app. Whoop can write data into these apps, which can be subsequently read by our app.

To connect Whoop with Health Connect, please open the Whoop app go to the More icon in the bottom-right corner, scroll down to Integrations, and tap on Health Connect.

Whoop can import the following data to MyNetDiary or PlateAI via Health Connect:

  • Exercise (Activities)
  • Steps
  • Resting Heart Rate
  • Sleep

Assuming the connection is established between MyNetDiary or PlateAI and Health Connect you should be receiving the data from Whoop.
