MyNetDiary's Premium New Feature - Over 200 Delicious Recipes!

Are you looking for recipes for healthy filling meals for weight loss? MyNetDiary recently introduced a new feature called Premium Recipes. We've been anxiously awaiting this release which includes over 200 healthy and easy to prepare recipes.

With premium membership to MyNetDiary you'll have quick access to these tasty, quick weight loss recipes. Each recipe includes a photo, ingredient list, recipe steps, calories and nutrients already loaded into MyNetDiary. Like 80% of the recipe but want to swap out a few ingredients? No problem. The recipes are easily customizable to fit your taste and dietary preferences. Looking for keto, vegan or gluten-free options? We've got you covered.

How to get started with the Premium Recipes feature to find healthy filling meals for weight loss

You can open Premium Recipes from the Dashboard or while logging foods from one of the food tabs. Just look for the chef hat icon, next to the tab with your custom recipes.

At a glance you'll see the calories/serving, the number of servings a recipe makes, amount of prep time and cooking time needed. Enjoy eating healthy but don't have time to spend hours in the kitchen? The majority of the recipes take 20 minutes or less to prepare!

How to use the Premium Recipes search function

One of my favorite features of Premium Recipes is the robust search function. If I need to find a quick weight loss recipe containing chicken, I'll open up Premium Recipes, enter chicken into the search box and then scroll down to look at all of the chicken recipes. Or if I need to prepare a gluten-free dish I can easily filter my search by tapping on the green tag icon to the right of the search field, and tapping GF on the Select Categories screen.

How to customize a recipe

One of the most useful aspects of the Premium Recipes feature is the ability to customize an existing recipe. Since the recipe is already entered into MyNetDiary it takes little effort to swap out a few ingredients for customization, while automatically recalculating its nutrition. What a time saver!

Open the recipe you want to customize, then tap on the ingredient you want to modify. A message box will appear asking if you would like to Copy & Customize this recipe? Select Yes. You've just unlocked a lot of cool options! You can now rename the recipe, add or remove ingredients, alter cooking instructions, etc.

Need to retrieve a recipe that you previously customized?

Once you've customized a Premium Recipe it will be saved among your custom recipes. Custom recipes is one of the tabs available in food search and logging. Simply scroll across and tap the bowl with the spoon icon. You should now see the "Recipes" screen- this is a list of your customized recipes.

Tip: When you copy & customize a Premium Recipe, it is treated and saved as if it is a customized recipe. The original Premium Recipe version will still be in the Premium Recipes area in case you want to use or view it again.

Calories and nutrients at your fingertips

All Premium Recipes have been fully analyzed for calorie, macronutrient and micronutrient composition. Total servings per recipe is described in the recipe overview. Nutrition information is listed per serving. For example, the Healthy Stuffed Peppers recipe makes 6 servings. Each serving is 1/2 of a stuffed red bell pepper. If you are curious about the nutrition facts you can preview this information by selecting the recipe and then scrolling down past the recipe steps. Tap on Food Label to view the calories, macros and micronutrients (such as iron, vitamin B12, etc) per serving.

Share a recipe with a friend

Another one of my favorite aspects of the Premium Recipes feature is the share utility. It is easy to share these healthy filling meals for weight loss. You can share a recipe from MyNetDiary to friends or family via email or a message. Just tap the Share button in the recipe and choose what works best for you!

How did these recipes come to fruition?

The Premium Recipes feature was a labor of love. It included a collaboration between MyNetDiary in-house Registered Dietitians, software developers and Sunny House Studio. Each recipe was developed and entered by the MyNetDiary team of dietitians and then prepared and photographed by Sunny House Studio.
